Sophia is a visual journalist from Texas, currently working as the assistant photo editor for AARP in Washington, D.C.
In her personal practice she pursues long-form photo stories about community, identity, and womanhood. Her work is based largely upon shared experiences.
Sophia enjoys jigsaw puzzles, dark chocolate, and slow mornings with her dog, Myles and cat, Frankie.
